I believe there is symbolism in the presence of animals and even insects. The fact that this one made its presence unignorable was all the more reason to look into its significance. There was a message and the universe made sure I didn't miss it.
Grasshoppers are interesting because it is one of few symbols that nearly universally mean good luck. There are two impressive facts about the grasshopper that I found. A grasshopper can only jump forwards. And grasshoppers have an impressive ability to interpret sound vibrations.
Grasshoppers are the symbolism of our inner voice. They symbolize moving forward, even reminding us to take a leap of faith. Grasshoppers remind us of a deeper abundance and happiness that is available if we have the courage to make a leap.
This symbolism was so powerful for the interaction I was having in that moment. It was a reminder that I have the support I need to create my reality. It took any false ideas of lack and literally smacked me in the face with the awareness of abundance. And for this I am very grateful.
I'm grateful to be pulled back out of a spiral. I'm grateful to have a negative thought smacked right out of my head. I'm grateful for the help in reminding myself that I am creating my reality each moment and negative thoughts do not serve what I wish to create. I'm also grateful for the laugh of surprise this little grasshopper gave me and the small but mighty effect of one insect. I'm grateful for these reminders. I'm grateful for my husband and the conversation we were having in that moment that made the exclamation point of the grasshopper that much more powerful.
What symbolism has been showing up for you? What animals or insects have been making an appearance in your life?
May today remind us we are all connected to something bigger than ourselves. May we feel the support of love in this connection. Have a beautiful day!
