Over the past several years writing this blog, it has shifted and changed to become what it is today. I have grown and learned more about creating my reality and the role gratitude plays in that for me. I'm learning to embrace my unique imperfection in each moment and learning how to best apply my knowledge to helping others.
Every day is a new day, full of opportunities. Yet there seems to be something especially significant in turning the pages of the calendar over to a new year. It is a blank slate so to speak. And this is a great opportunity to decide who is holding the pen.
What goals do you have for this year? Who do you want to be? And how can you get there from where you are in this moment?
I do not have all the answers. I am learning as I go just like everyone else. But I have learned that we each have the power within us to change, to love, to create, and to grow. The phrase, "the only certainty is change", applies not only to life but to ourselves. We change with each experience, decision, and opportunity (whether taken or untaken).
I'm grateful for change. I'm grateful to have a stable foundation to support me during change, such as the love of family. I'm grateful for the opportunities that have already presented themselves in 2016 and I'm grateful for the thousands more that will come. I'm grateful for the blessings in my life from a warm home to the man I love sharing it with me. I'm grateful for all the lessons I have learned in 2015 that make me stronger and wiser in 2016. I'm grateful to make a commitment to myself and my loved ones for 2016. And I'm grateful to make a commitment to anyone who wants assistance in writing this next chapter of their book. I'm grateful to share the tools I know.
What are you grateful for today? Would you like to learn tools to build the life you dream about? What is your greatest desire for 2016?
May today bless you with seeing the infinite possibilities in front of you. May you find the courage to grab the pen and write this year as you dream. Have a beautiful day and a beautiful weekend!
